Holy shwarma! This stuff is delish. The kalaya is a superb dish of thinly sliced beef cooked in a tasty aromatic and chunky tomato sauce. The lamb gyro is crunchy and the meat is tender.

Some of the best hummus in town. Fresh pita made daily! They have been open for a long time and have been great all these years!

This restaurant is in our neighborhood and we have been many times. Our favorites are the gyros and hummus with shawarma. Great place with friendly service.

You're not going to find any more authentic Palestinian an Eastern Mediterranean Levant area. Amazing hummus and skewer style Meats cook to a juicy perfection. But if someone asked me what they must have if they're here and I would answer there are two things falafel and the baklava.,

Small place you are likely to never know exists. In an odd area as well. But, the food is absolutely wonderful. Great quality and great portions.

I love this restaurant! Their fries & lamb gyro are my go to dish. And if you like hummus, you have to get theirs because it blows any store bought hummus out of the water. The pita bread is also incredible, I could honestly eat it plain. They also have great baklava for dessert.

Love this place. Huge selection of Mediterranean food. Great place to go if you are vegan, vegetarian or not. They have some of the best gyros in town. You can eat in or do take out. I highly recommend their hummus.

The overall experience was "Westerners, go away!". That's the sign that should be on the door. Good food, but it didn't match the menu that was online. The service was almost non-existent. The one and only server seemed more intent on wiping the tables than serving. He was unfamiliar with the menu. A simple question like, "What vegetables are in it?, stumped him. Never asked what we wanted to drink. Never came back to see if our food was good nor to ask if we needed anything. Nope, we won't be going back. Ever.

Love the place, I used to frequent this place when I worked at GE appliance park.....and the chef became so friendly and the servers were very nice .... they make real authentic Palestinian food. The best gyro I have ever had in my life....very generous portions.I once went to this place and saw all the executives of GE including then CEO James Campbell enjoying a meal here ..... everyone loves the atmosphere and best food taste.

The hummus and pita bread was delicious. The main dishes were pretty bland. I got a chicken kebab with rice and salad. The salad was super tiny and had too much dressing. The chicken kebab was just bland chicken and no veggies. The rice had no flavor at all. My husband liked his chicken shawarma. We ordered a burger for our 5 year old son, which tasted awful, so we got chicken nuggets instead. They tried to charge us for the burger even though we returned it. Baklava was tasty. Overall the meal was extremely expensive for what we got. Won't be rushing back anytime soon.

A hidden gem in the city that has amazing food, great service, and a wonderful store with fresh bread next door! I suggest this restaurant to any gyro lover especially if you like lamb!

I only had hummus and falafels and rice for my toddler. The hummus was very good as were the falafels. Kind of expensive though for rice and vegetable. I'd go back for hummus and falafel but probably not get rice again. Hummus came with two pitas but 3 would have been better. I'd still go back unless I find something else amazing in the area.

Don't come for the ambiance, but the food is amazing. Best falafel and gyros in town. The prices are very reasonable too.

Grt food ......gyro is too notch they even kinda gave me the wrong order on a salad but I didn't even care it was soooooo good .....quick too ....

This is a fantastic little place tucked away just off Hikes Lane on Klondike. It's not terribly impressive from the outside, but it's what inside that counts. And what's inside is the best lamb gyros in town by a wide margin.Fresh, house-made pita is jammed full of crispy, delicious gyros and dressed with just the right amount of tangy tsatziki sauce, lettuce, and tomato. The combo, which includes a side of workmanlike fries and a can of soda, is a great value at $9. It's a heck of a lot of good, wholesome food, and you'll finish your meal full and satisfied.There's much more on the menu than just the gyros, and I've been told by multiple people that there are some other real gems on the menu, but I just can't tear myself away from the gyros. It's not to be missed.

Loved my lamb gyro entree! Ganoush was alright. And, baklava was yummy too! However, my friend didn't enjoy his entree of chicken shawarma. Apparently, it was too dry. Nonetheless, I enjoyed my meal, so full points to Alwatan.
